That day at lunch, Hannah and her two friends decided to ear outside on the picnic benches. Hannah could tell that Kristina was upset over the fact that she too did not do her homework along with everyone else except Hannah, and she agreed that it would have been so nice if they both had done it. She still did not understand life insurance policy, so Hannahspend the entire lunch period explaining it to the both of them. By the end they finally understood what a life insurance policy was, and they would do fine when they had their quizzes next class. Because so few people had even done the homework, all the teachers had postponed the quizzes until further notice.

They had another homework sheet instead, so during study time she decided she might as well try to get some or all of it done. When she took it out it said "Life Insurance Policy" across the top. She smiled to herself, proud that she had taken the time to understand it before she came to school this morning. For once she had known what it was to be at the top of the class in something. She liked it, and she liked how it made her feel like she was literally shining or glowing. She went on to finish the section about companies, and then completed the section about the different types of quotes.

After her study block was over, she moved on the Earth science, where she sat with Kristina, Simone, and Nicole. It was an exciting and energetic class, anda whole lot of fun. At one point they had to sing a song, but the lyrics were so silly that Hannah and Kristina cracked up and couldn't do it, even when Mrs. Young tried to make them do iton their own, they just sat there and laughed themselves silly. It was days like that that reminded Hannah why she was best friends with them.

She went home reluctantly after that class. She would have rather stayed andhung out with her friends, but her parents would not have been happy if she hap purposefully missed the bus, or if she had brought Kristina home with her without asking first. So when she got there, she finished the rest of her homework and then laid down to take a nap. She laid there and stared at the ceiling, a smile on her face as shethought about her day. She laid there and thought about life insurance policy, too.
